The Ceramic Industry uses our Jai Hans Talc for making items such as Wall Tiles, Sanitary ware, Electrical Insulating, Porcelain and Dinnerware. Because it reacts during firing, its role in the ceramic process depends on its interaction with the other raw materials in the formulation and its chemical reaction at different temperatures. Jai Hans Talc brings its properties to all three basic families of applications: traditional, refractory and technical ceramics. Jai HansTalc can be the main constituent in cordierites, steatites and earthenware. In floor and wall tiles, tableware and sanitary ware, it is used as an additive.
Combined with feldspar to form a eutectic-flux, Jai Talc talcs reduce firing temperatures and cycles. They also stabilize firing shrinkage.
